Vietastro

Vietnamese Astronomical Community

VietAstro is a conceptual branding project inspired by the Vietnamese Astronomical Community. I created this as my graduation project, it marks a major milestone in my journey as a designer. I aimed to explore how visual identity could make science more approachable and engaging. This project reflects both my passion for astronomy and my growth in using design to connect people with ideas.

Logo

The VietAstro logo uses clean geometry to balance scientific clarity and human connection. The stylized “V” stands for Vietnam, while the central circle represents both a celestial body and a person — placing people at the heart of discovery. The orbital arc adds a sense of motion and curiosity, echoing the spirit of exploration that drives the astronomy community.

Colors

The VietAstro palette captures the spirit of exploration. Cosmic Violet evokes wonder and imagination, Gravity Black adds depth and professionalism, and Solar Flare brings warmth and energy. Together, they reflect a balance between cosmic mystery and human curiosity.
